Family-owned company with tradition
Founded in 1887 by Franz Seraph Bauer as the “Bauerschweizer Käsewerk” in Wasserburg am Inn, the Bauer Group is now an independent family business in its fifth generation.
At Bauer, tradition has always gone hand-in-hand with innovation and development – thinking long term and sustainable action prevail over short-term success. This approach has helped Bauer become a strong corporate group with production sites throughout Germany.
