§ 5 Matomo
(1) We use the open-source tool Matomo to analyze our website. The purpose of data processing is to analyze your browsing behavior. By evaluating the data collected, we are able to compile information about the use of individual pages on our website. This helps us to improve our website and its user-friendliness.
(2) Basic tracking without consent is implemented. § 6 Use of Google Analytics
(1) This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies,” text files that are stored on your computer and allow an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will, however, first be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website and internet usage to the website operator.
(2) The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google.
(3) You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software; however, we point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website in full. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
(4) This website uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizeIp()”. As a result, IP addresses are processed in shortened form, thereby ruling out any direct personal reference. If a personal reference is assigned to the data collected about you, this is immediately excluded and the personal data is promptly deleted.
(5) We use Google Analytics to analyze and regularly improve the use of our website. The statistics obtained allow us to improve our offering and make it more interesting for you as a user. We obtain your consent before using Google Analytics. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 (1)(1)(a) GDPR.
(6) Information from the third-party provider: Google Dublin, Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, Fax: +353 (1) 436 1001. Terms of use: http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html)
Privacy overview: http://www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/learn/privacy.html as well as the Privacy policy: http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.
Additionally, if question 8 is answered with yes and Google AdSense is used:
§ 7 Use of Google AdSense
(1) This website uses the online advertising service Google AdSense, which can display advertising tailored to your interests. We pursue the interest of showing you advertisements that may be of interest to you in order to make our website more appealing. To this end, statistical information about you is collected and processed by our advertising partners. These advertisements are identifiable by the “Google Ads” label in the respective advertisement.
(2) By visiting our website, Google receives the information that you have accessed our website. For this purpose, Google uses a web beacon to place a cookie on your computer. The data specified in § 3 of this declaration is transmitted. We have no influence on the data collected, nor are we aware of the full extent of the data collection and the duration of storage. Your data is transferred to the USA and analyzed there. If you are logged into your Google account, your data can be directly associated with it. If you do not wish your data to be associated with your Google profile, you must log out. It is possible that this data may be passed on to Google’s contractual partners and third parties, including authorities. The legal basis for the processing of your data is Art. 6 (1)(1)(a) GDPR.
(3) You can prevent the installation of cookies from Google AdSense in several ways:
a) by adjusting your browser software settings accordingly, particularly by blocking third-party cookies, which will prevent you from receiving ads from third-party providers;
b) by deactivating interest-based ads from Google via the link http://www.google.de/ads/preferences, noting that this setting will be deleted if you delete your cookies;
c) by deactivating interest-based ads from providers who are part of the “About Ads” self-regulation initiative via the link http://www.aboutads.info/choices, noting again that this setting will be deleted if you delete your cookies;
d) by permanently disabling cookies in your browser Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Google Chrome via the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin.
Please note that in this case you may not be able to use all features of this offering in full.
