Wasserburg am Inn, December 29, 2025 – It is with great sadness and deep sorrow that the Bauer Group bids farewell to Mr. Markus Bauer, who passed away unexpectedly on December 23, 2025, at the age of only 58. Markus Bauer was a shareholder and chairman of the supervisory board of our company and played a key role in shaping the development of the Bauer Group.
Markus Bauer shaped the company with his vision, commitment, and passion. Under his leadership, the Bauer Group developed into a successful and leading family business in the industry, synonymous with quality, reliability, sustainability, and innovation. We have lost not only an entrepreneur, but also a person who accompanied us with his personality, his loyalty, and his trust. The Bauer Group will continue to develop and operate in his spirit—with the same passion, future orientation, and responsibility that Markus Bauer always embodied.
